The group, which was formed in May 2003, meet at LARCC by kind permission of the directors.  They are informal and friendly meetings where members can express their feelings of support and sharing.  The philosophy of the group is to share, support and to have fun.

To this end there are a variety of activities.  These include social events,
craft workshops, therapy sessions and outings.  The group also supports
the ethos of LARCC by helping with fund raising and at social events.

All are welcome to join be they have a cancer diagnosis, they are a relative or just friends.  The group has about 40 members at any one time.
